As an IT Specialist, you will be a key member of the IT department, responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure. Your role involves troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining hardware and software, and assisting colleagues with IT-related inquiries.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to colleagues for IT hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance and management of IT infrastructure and equipment.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Perform routine system checks, backups, and system updates.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, licenses, and inventory.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement security measures and protocols.
- Assist colleagues with IT-related inquiries and provide training as needed.
- Monitor IT systems for performance, security, and data integrity.
- Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades and technology deployments.
- Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and provide recommendations.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and technical guides.
- Assist in the evaluation and procurement of IT hardware and software.
- Support IT-related documentation and reporting requirements.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to safeguard the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as contribute to environmental conservation.
