As a Senior Sales Manager, you will lead the sales team and be responsible for driving revenue through sales efforts. Your role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team, including Sales Managers and Sales Executives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales leads.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with key accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales campaigns and promotions.
- Prepare and present sales reports and performance metrics to senior management.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review sales targets and progress.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, including group bookings and corporate accounts.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning related to sales revenue.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to safeguard the health and safety of colleagues, as well as contribute to environmental conservation.
