As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your responsibilities include overseeing the housekeeping team, implementing cleaning schedules, and maintaining high standards. You lead by example, fostering a positive and efficient work environment, while actively contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence of the hotel.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and assign daily tasks to Housekeeping Attendants, ensuring efficient service on guest floors.
- Provide necessary resources, such as keys and supplies, to Housekeeping Attendants for their daily tasks.
- Handle guest requests and complaints with care, ensuring effective resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Inspect guest rooms regularly, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to the hotel's quality assurance standards.
- Monitor room status and communicate effectively with the Front Office Department for efficient operations.
- Report damaged items and broken equipment to the Engineering Department and follow set procedures for lost and found items.
- Order Housekeeping supplies on time and manage inventory procedures to maintain sufficient stock levels.
- Evaluate Housekeeping Attendant performance, providing feedback and reporting any issues to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
- Train Room Attendants on Standards of Performance (SOPs) to maintain desired performance levels and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
